Club World Cup: Real Madrid not distracted by Barcelona, PSG matches – Zidane

Real Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane, has insisted that his side are not distracted by upcoming games against Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain, as they take on Al Jazira in a Club World Cup semi-final on Wednesday.

Al Jazira defeated New Zealand’s Auckland City and Urawa Red Diamonds of Japan to reach the last four.

“This is a competition we want to win, and we will give our all,” Zidane said.

“We are thinking of this competition and nothing else. We are not thinking about La Liga or anything else.”

However, he added confirmation that a red card in Abu Dhabi could rule a Madrid player out of the Clasico “could influence our thinking.”

“They are different competitions, so it seems strange to me that it happens,” he said. “But I think positively and I believe we will all be able to play against Barcelona.

“It is strange, but we accept it as we cannot do anything about it.”
