Manchester United vs Valencia: Francis Coquelin warns Jose Mourinho’s men

Valencia midfielder, Francis Coquelin has warned Manchester United that his side are heading to Old Trafford ‘with the intention of winning’ Jose Mourinho’s men in today’s Champions League fixture.

Coquelin, who faced United numerous times while he was at Arsenal, believes Valencia will defeat the Red Devils in front of their home fans.

“We’re going to Manchester with a bit more confidence after winning at Anoeta and with the intention of winning,” Coquelin told VCF Media.

“We’re going there with the objective of winning the game, knowing we’ll be playing in the Champions League where the big players play better, and Manchester United have many top players. It’ll be difficult.

“Physically I feel very good, the minutes I’m getting are allowing me to gain match-sharpness.

“The Champions League is a very attractive competition, we’re playing against great teams and facing Manchester United, a game that many players would like to play in.

“Manchester United have always had a good team, with players of great quality. I think they’ve been more inconsistent this season, but it’s very tough to play at their stadium.”

The kick-off time for the match is 8pm.
