EPL: Man United owners, Glazer family names one untouchable player

Manchester United’s owners, the Glazer family have told the club’s CEO, Ed Woodward that Paul Pogba is ‘untouchable’.

According to Mundo Deportivo, United owners see Pogba as the future of the club.

The Frenchman has consistently fell out with United manager Jose Mourinho this season, with the row playing out in the public sphere.

The newspaper claims that the Glazers stepped in and stopped the player’s move to Barcelona last summer after an asking price and agent’s fee have been agreed.

The Glazer family see the former Juventus star as United’s Lionel Messi and warned Woodward not to entertain any offers for his services.

Pogba is considered the man to build United’s squad around, with or without Mourinho as the manager.
